He was born in Seville, where he began to play the flamenco guitar at the age of 11 under the direction of Jaime Burgos, continuing his apprenticeship in dance accompaniment with Benito de Merida and Carmen Mora. In 1984 he participated in the course of the renowned guitarist Manolo Sanlúcar, organized by the Bienal de Flamenco.

Throughout his career he has collaborated with well-known artists such as the Montoya family, Chiquetete, Segundo Falcón, José Galván, Adela Campallo and Antonio de la Malena, and has also been part of the Andalusian dance company and has attended important festivals such as the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla with the shows “Flamencos Anónimos” and “Flamenco para niños”.

On the other hand, it is worth mentioning his participation in different television programs accompanying Pilar Astola with “La Venta del Duende” and “La Llama Viva”, as well as his presence in a series of documentaries about flamenco for the Odyssey channel, together with the Montoya Family, Fernanda Romero and Pepe Suero, among others.

This elegant guitarist has won several awards such as the First Prize for Playing awarded by the Federación de Peñas de Sevilla, he has also been selected to participate in the Flamenco Guitar Competition in Córdoba.
