Rocío Mayoral

Originally from Beas (Huelva), she begins her flamenco journey while still a child, going on to win the first prize at fandango championship “Pie de Olivo” at age 10. This achievement is followed by many others, such as best overall at a national level at “Colón Flamenco” in Huelva, 2017.

Mayoral begins her studies at the Huelva Flamenco Club, whose trope she’d join in their Andalusian tours. Rocío continues her academic career at Cristina Heeren’s prestigious flamenco art Foundation, where she currently teaches.

Despite her youth, she has an extensive curriculum. In the year 2009, Rocío records her first demo. Later, in 2014, she joins Reyes Leon’s troupe performing “La Gran Matanza”, a blockbuster  performance in acclaimed venues such as Teatro Lope de Vega in Seville.

Her mastery of the cante “palante” comes at no surprise due to the use of her powerful yet delicate voice, with which she has delighted multiple crowds at flamenco clubs and festivals. Rocío is also a staple on some of the most prestigious flamenco lineups, in both international and local “tablaos” and venues.

Rocio has performed alongside very well know professionals, such as Arcángel, Falete and Manuel Lombo.
