Ramón Amador

Ramón belongs to the renowned flamenco family “Amador”. He inherited a devotion for “toque” and “cante” from his own father and namesake, the great guitarist Ramón Amador.

At the young age of 12 he stands out in the “Salvia Nueva” performance, alongside Angelita Vargas and “El Bobote”.

At 14 years of age Ramón kickstarts his professional career in the most prestigious “tablaos” both internationally as well as within Spain. He performs among very important flamenco companies, such as Eva la Yerbabuena’s, Cristina Hoyos’, and the “Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía”. The latter company show cases Ramon’s guitar in “Romancero gitano”, “Poema del Cante Jondo” and “Viaje al Sur”.

He is a regular guitarist for various acclaimed artists, such as “Farruquito”, Enrique “El Extremeño”, Juan de Juan, Susana Casas, “El Junco”, and “La Piñona” among others. These artists rely on Ramón on their respective performances, acting as a unit throughout the “Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla” as well as on the international stage.
