José Pérez started playing the guitar when he was only 10 years old, rapidly discovering a passion in both music in general and flamenco more specifically. He joined Cristina Heeren’s Foundation when he was older to improve his technique and musical knowledge, where he began his professional career joining in shows with singing and dancing.
He has worked in different tablaos, theaters and shows, as well as with different artists and artistic groups in which he gained experience performing live. He became an international artist as well when he visited Japan, France and Italy, among others.
José now lives in Seville, where he works in different tablaos and theaters, such as La Casa del Flamenco, and still joins in on different musical projects related both with flamenco and andalusian culture.
