Jesús Rodríguez

Born in the Sevillian town of Mairena del Alcor, Jesús lived and breathed flamenco next to his father and brother. At the age of 14 he begun studying guitar at “La Casa del Arte Flamenco Antonio Mairena. However, it is performing with “El Niño Elías” that gave Jesús his particular “corte clásico”.

Another keystone in his education was La Fundación Cristina Heeren del Arte Flamenco. There, he would learn the lessons of great maestros like Pedro Sánchez, Eduardo Rebollar, and Rafael Riqueni.

Since then, he has always performed alongside great artists the likes of Pilar Ríos, Laura Vital, Luisa Palicio, Manuel Romero “El Cotorro”, and Juan Pinilla.
