He was born on March 1, 1968. He began his training with teachers like Mario Escudero and Julio Rodríguez, although it is by playing in the street that he learns the most, as well as from companions whom he admires, like the talented Miguel Pérez.
Throughout his career, he has played for such dancers as Farruco, José Galván, Cristina Hoyos, Mario Maya, Manuela Carrasco, Angelita Vargas, Sara Baras, and Antonio Canales, among others.
Among the cantaores he has accompanied are La Susi, Remedios Amaya, Chiquetete, and Juan Villar.
Currently, he tours with the artists Argentina, Toñi Fernández, and Regina García.
