David Sánchez “El Galli”

He was born in Barcelona, but at the age of 10 he returned to his family’s hometown, Morón de la Frontera, in Seville. A town with a great flamenco tradition that influenced his early love of this art form.

Throughout his artistic career, he has performed in prestigious festivals, such as the Bienal de Sevilla in 2006, and also in 2010 with Miguel Poveda with “Historias de viva voz”, the singing recital of the Corral del carbón in Granada, the International Festival of Alburquerque, New Mexico, El Potaje Gitano de Utrera, the Gazpacho de Morón, the Mont de Marsan Flamenco Festival, and the Union of Murcia, among others.

This talented cantaor, has shared the stage with artists of the recognition of Cristina Hoyos, Antonio Canales, Farruquito, Dorantes, Raimundo Amador, Paco de Lucía, Sara Baras, etc.

He has collaborated on albums by Enrique “El Extremeño”; “Tierra de barros” (2006) Rubito hijo “A tomillo y romero” (2005), Paco Fernández “Sastipén talí” (2005) Morón y su compás (DVD) (2006), Raquel Morey (2010), Paco de Amparo “Moroneando” (2010), and has participated in numerous TV programmes.

He also has his own show entitled “Cal y Albero” which debuted in 2015.
