Pepe de Pura was born in Seville, growing up in a flamenco family environment. Little by little, he became one of the main figures in flamenco singing.
Throughout his professional career he has collaborated with the artists Farruco, Mario Maya and Manuela Carrasco. Also, he has shared the stage with the dancers Israel Galván, Antonio Canales, Javier Barón, and with the well-known dancer Belén Maya.
The talented cantaor has formed, and forms part of, the most important flamenco companies, such as Eva “La Yerbabuena”.
He is currently touring with several shows, as well as working in several prestigious tablaos, and has collaborated on Vicente Amigo’s latest album.
