Born in Nerja, 1995, Águeda would begin her artistic career at the early age of 7 at the Dance Conservatory of Malaga. When she turned 15 she moved to Madrid to continue developing her craft at the Carmen Amaya Professional Dance Conservatory.
She has been and is currently part of prestigious dance companies such as those of Manuel Liñán and Daniel Doña with the show “REW”. This show premiered in 2012 at reputed festivals and venues as well as at the “Sevilla 2012 Bienal de Flamenco”.
In the year 2013 she participated in “Lorca y Granada” at the “Summers of the Generalife”. This work was choreographed by Fuensanta “La Moneta” and Manuel Liñán, with whom she debuted “Nómada” at the 2014 Jerez Festival.
Among the numerous awards that set her apart in the industry, it is worth mentioning the First Place at Ribarroja del Turia’s Dance Contest, awarded to Águeda in 2009 and 2010 consecutively. This accomplishment led her to receive a scholarship at Antonio Najarro’s Dance Company. Later, in 2013, the artist emerged as rightful winner of the “Tablao Villa-Rosa Contest”.
Her participation in Marco Flores’ Company should not go without mention, with the outstanding performance in “Entrar al Juego” which premiered on last “Festival de Jerez”, February 2016. She is currently casted in “Silencios Rotos”, produced by “Entredos Spanish Ballet”, under artistic and choreographic directors Elena Algado and Miguel Ángel Corbacho.
