Born in Cadiz, where he took his first flamenco dance steps, he later developed his career in Jerez and Seville under the great maestro Manolo Mar\u00edn.<\/p>\n
He would soon be part of Cristina Hoyos\u2019 company as a solo dancer, performing in \u201cCaminos Andaluces\u201d, \u201cArsa y Toma, and \u201cYerma\u201d among other shows. He would later perform \u201cYerma\u201d with the Andalusian FlamencoBallet, where he started his career as a solo dancer and choreographer.<\/p>\n
In 2007 he presented the first show of his own, \u201cJunquerias\u201d, at the Jerez Flamenco Festival, where he received positive reviews from both crowd and press. It is on that same year that he debuted \u201cCadiz\u201d as Director of Choreography and main dancer.<\/p>\n
In the year 2009 he showed, as a solo endeavour, \u201cPor un sue\u00f1o\u201d, directed by Javier Marin. This show was performed at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, in Spain\u2019s pavilion.<\/p>\n
In 2012, the artist exhibited \u201cMirando al Pasado\u201d and the show \u201cBailaores\u201d. The latter was performed alongside the dancer Juan Ogalla, as guests artists from the National \u201cAlegrias\u201d Dance Contest in Cadiz.<\/p>\n
In 2017 he debuted \u201cPa flamenco yo\u201d in the program \u201cFlamenco viene del sur\u201d at the Central Theatre of Seville alongside other artists from La Casa del Flamenco such as Susana Casas, David Sanchez \u201cEl Galli\u201d and Miguel Perez. It is also to be noted the success of the project \u201cQu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si pasara\u201d, combining flamenco, theater, and humour; touring Spain\u2019s cities since 2018.<\/p>\n
Among his accolades it is worth mentioning the Max Award, to the best male dance performer 2008, the Pe\u00f1a Flamenca de Huelva Award and the Award for Alegrias Ciudad de Cadiz.<\/p>\n
