Susana started dancing at the age of eight under the guidance of Jos\u00e9 Galv\u00e1n, followed by other great artists, such as Matilde Coral or Manolo Mar\u00edn.<\/p>\n
From 1998 to 2004 she was a member of the Ballet de Cristina Hoyos with the shows “Arsa y Toma”, “Al comp\u00e1s del tiempo” and “Tierra Dentro”, among others. In 2003, she got the leading role for the play “Yerma” within this same company, with which she got great reviews from the public and the specialized press. She was also part of the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet, with the shows \u201cViaje al sur\u201d and \u201cRomancero gitano\u201d.<\/p>\n
In 2009, she premiered the show “Por un sue\u00f1o” at the Gran Teatro Falla (C\u00e1diz), as both dancer and choreographer, achieving great success. The following year she took this show to the Universal Exhibition in Shanghai (China), during the week dedicated to Andalusia in the Spanish pavilion.<\/p>\n
Among the awards that this Sevillian dancer has received are the Farolillo de Oro (Seville), the first national award Matilde Coral (Barcelona), the award for best flamenco show in the cycle “Larach\u00ed Flamenca” with the show “La hora del duende”, the first award for best free dance (Cadiz) and second place in the Festival de la Uni\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
