He started his formal learning with guitar player Juan Ram\u00f3n Caro in El Taller de M\u00fasics, a school located in Barcelona, where he started singing at the age of 16 in dacing and guitar academies of the city.<\/p>\n
In 2017 he came to Seville on a scholarship from Acciona to study in the prestigious Fundaci\u00f3n Cristina Heeren under the mentorship of recognized teachers, such as Jos\u00e9 de la Tomasa, Juan Jos\u00e9 Amador o Liliana Aracil. At the same time, he started singing as an assistant teacher under the wings of Pedro Sierra, Carmelilla Montoya, Rub\u00e9n Olmo, Rafael Rodr\u00edguez \u201cCabeza\u201d, Mar\u00eda Moreno or Pastora Galv\u00e1n among others. Later on he ended up teaching singing at the Rebollar School of Performing Arts and codirecting his own school, called Arrebol.<\/p>\n
He studied the history of Flamenco with Jos\u00e9 Mayo (President of the Tertulia in Badalona), Pepa S\u00e1nchez (Director of the Fundaci\u00f3n Cristina Heeren), Pedro Barrag\u00e1n (Guitarist and professor of the history of Flamenco in the Fundaci\u00f3n Cristina Heeren) and Jos\u00e9 Luis Ortiz Nuevo (Poet and one of the co-founders of the Bienal in Seville).<\/p>\n
He has participated in different international flamenco festivals, like the Bienal in Seville in 2018 with the song \u201cLa Roda del Viento\u201d, by David Dorantes; the 33\u00ba festival of Arte Flamenco in Catalonia; Savia Nueva, directed by Mayte Mart\u00edn, Txiquitsi (Mozambique) and El Dorado (Barcelona)<\/p>\n
Nowadays he performs in different tablaos, such as Los Gallos, La Casa del Flamenco, Teatro Flamenco, Palau Dalmases, Los Tarantos, etc.<\/p>\n
It is also worth mentioning that Marcos won the first award in Talento Flamenco Naranjito de Triana por Sole\u00e1 in 2017, was a finalist in \u201cEl Candil\u201d and \u201cLa Llagosta\u201d (in Barcelona), Talento Flamenco por Canti\u00f1as (in C\u00e1diz) and Talento Flamenco por Granainas (in Granada).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":18203,"template":"","disciplina":[29],"class_list":["post-18252","artista","type-artista","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","disciplina-singing"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
