Miguel Pérez

Born in Seville, he began playing at the age of eight at the hands of his father. Little by little, he became one of the most sought-after musicians on the national and international flamenco scene. This is reflected in the different awards that recognize his art, among which the Nîmes Guitar Soloist Award stands out.

Throughout his career, he has been part of important companies: in Los Angeles (USA), in 2008, he participated in Yaelisa’s Company, together with Juan Ogalla, Andrés Peña, Encarna Anillo and David Lagos. In 2010, she collaborated with Pastora Galván’s Company in the shows “Bailes” and “Pastora”. She has also participated in the artistic paintings of José Greco, Manolo Soler, La Toná, Rafaela Carrasco and Antonio Canales.

In parallel to his performances, Miguel has taught at the prestigious International Music Competition in Marktoberdorf, and at the academies of Matilde Coral and Manuel Betanzos.

This experienced guitarist has a record of his own creation entitled “Con-trastes”, in which the artists Carlos “El Canario”, Emilio Florido and Moi de Morón, among others, collaborate.
